Applying to Work at KURE

KURE is always looking for new DJ's, music reviewers, production staff and engineers. All positions are on a volunteer basis. ISU students, faculty, and alumni are elligible work at KURE, though you must be a student to serve on the board of directors.

If you are interested in working at KURE the first step is to fill out an application. You can apply by printing off a PDF application, or picking up an application from the door of our friley hall studio. Return your application to our business office and a board member will interview you.

Some suggestions for the interview:

• Be on time - We want to hire responsible people.
• Come with ideas - Think about what kind of music you would like to play, and ideas for contests or other things to spice it up.
• Don't be nervous - We're not going to humiliate you because you own a Green Day record.
• Don't expect to get a great time slot - We'll do the best we can to get you a slot, but it's common to spend a semester or two at a late night time slot, or subbing for other DJ's
